Some time ago, my sister found my 1981 diary. It’s tiny but crammed full of the thoughts of 13 year-old me. We laughed, cringed and reminisced about the time when all that mattered was that week’s Number One, boys and how school totally got in the way of being able to cycle around town for miles and miles.
So obviously, the next step was to create a Twitter account and put out the diary entries on a daily basis. Why wouldn’t you? My OCD teenage self recorded everything and also scribbled down the Top 20 charts. Who wouldn’t want to read that?
This site documents the results of putting my teenage life online. You’ll find sections from the diary, my Top 20 records, links to articles about the account and news about developments.
Thanks for visiting!
It’s amazing how I remember all these songs as a 10 year old and now. Step back in time. Is it me or was music just better then.
